Reasons the product is recalled
The recall is due to inadequate pasteurisation of some bottles, causing fermentation and an increase in pressure inside the bottle.
The hazards to consumers
Some products received inadequate pasteurisation during production. This results in an increase in fermentation and increase in pressure inside the bottle. This increased pressure can cause the cap to pop off or in some cases the bottle could shatter causing possible laceration injuries.
What consumers should do
