What are the defects?
Batch 22 of the tether anchor bracket is faulty. The tether anchor bracket connects the car-seat tether strap to the car anchorage bolt.
What are the hazards?
If the tether anchor bracket fails in the event of a collision, the performance of the car restraint may be impacted, increasing the risk of injury to the child.
What should consumers do?
The tether anchor bracket supplied with the booster seat should be checked for the batch number stamped on it. If the batch number is "22", cease using the booster seat immediately. Contact Chicco by phone on 02 8543 5570 or email info@chicco.com.au to arrange to receive a replacement tether anchor bracket.
