Reason the product is recalled
The machined groove in the Bromic Chrome Plated Gas Floor Female Bayonet Socket (that contains the o-ring) is oversized (above the top tolerance limit). The o-ring in some instance may not provide a gas tight seal when the male bayonet attached to appliance.

What consumers should do
If Bromic Chrome Plated Gas Floor Female Bayonet Socket with a batch date 04/04, clearly visible on the back of the floor bayonet below the model number BR2-1 was installed at your premises on or after 24 June 2004, disconnect the male Bayonet from the socket and contact supplier.
