Reasons the product is recalled
The tether strap is not labelled in accordance with the Consumer Protection Notice No. 8 of 2007. The tether strap failed to include the following caution: "WARNING: USE THIS STRAP TO STOP THE PRAM/STROLLER ROLLING AWAY".
The hazards to consumers
Consumers will not be alerted to the roll away hazard because the strap is not marked with the mandatory warning.
What consumers should do
To organise for a replacement tether strap please e-mail Coolkidz at the following address: recall@coolkidz.net.au. Please include your name and address. Once received, the old tether is to be removed and have the replacement attached.
