Reason the product is recalled
The lid locking mechanism is defective which can cause the lid to detach when cooking.
The hazards to consumers
If the defect occurs, liquid or food is likely to splash out of the pressure cooker and cause scalding or serious burns to the user and bystanders. The defect has occurred and caused serious burns to consumers.
What consumers should do
Consumers should stop using the product and return it back to their nearest ALDI store for a full refund.
