Testing identified the harness may not meet all the performance requirements of the mandatory safety standard Trade Practices (Consumer Product Safety Standard)(Bicycle Helmets) Regulations 2001 Statutory Rules 2001 No. 279 as amended.
The hazards to consumers
There is a possibility the helmet may not provide adequate protection to the wearer in the event of an accident.
