Reason the product is recalled
The trigger-actuated hinge lock mechanism in the handle could fail.
The hazards to consumers
The frame handle could fail to latch properly and break, potentially causing the user to lose control of the stroller, which could result in injury to the child.
What consumers should do
The repair exercise was first actioned and largely completed in late 2008/early 2009. Consumers who still have strollers that haven't been repaired should contact phil&teds (or the relevant retail outlet) and obtain a replacement stroller frame for self swap.
