The product does not comply with marking requirements of the mandatory standard 'Trade Practices Act 1974 - Consumer Protection Notice No.2 of 2009 - Consumer Product Safety Standard: Flotation Toys and Aquatic Toys', as a safety warning does not appear on the product.
What are the hazards?
Users may not be aware of important safety information about the use of the product (i.e. only use under supervision). There is potentially an increased risk of drowning if the product is not used as intended.
What should consumers do?
