Reason the product is recalled
The defect concerns the stopper plug and the non-return valve. The stopper plug prevents the escape of air from the product once it is inflated. There are three stopper plugs on the product. When in the water, the stopper plug can become slippery and detach from the air inlet valve. The non-return valve regulates the rate at which the product deflates once the stopper plug is detached. Because of a defective valve, the product can deflate at too fast a rate. Together, there is a risk that the product may deflate during usage at a rapid rate.
