The Liquid Level Control is used to switch the milk pump on and off and is always installed in the milk receiver. All units sold by DeLaval and its Dealers between January 1997 and August 2000 are affected.

What are the defects?

In certain situations there is a chance of moisture building up inside the unit, possibly causing the electrical current to pass down the shaft of the Liquid Level Control. This can potentially cause malfunction and/or electric shock.

What are the hazards?

Electric shock.
