Reasons the product is recalled
There is a risk that movement of the air conditioner, other than in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, may cause water to spill onto an internal pump, causing it to overheat and in some cases catch fire.

Consumers should turn the air conditioner off and contact Parex on Freecall 1800 123 702 (24 hours 5 days a week) who will arrange for the repair free of charge.
