Reason the product is recalled

The product does not comply with the mandatory standard 'Consumer Protection Notice No. 13 of 2003 - Consumer product safety standard: 'Sunglasses and fashion spectacles.''
The product does not have the correct labelling identifying the lens category, which indicates the amount of UV radiation protection provided by the glasses.

The hazards to consumers

Consumers need to be informed through labelling what level of protection the sunglasses provide.
The product is not suitable for use whilst driving and it may impair the ability for the wearer to see the colour red.

What consumers should do

Consumers should stop using the product and email supasundaysrecall@yahoo.com to arrange for a postage paid envelope to be sent to their address. Consumers should then return the product in the postage paid envelope.

Consumers will be provided with a refund after the product has been returned.
