Product description
The recall covers the plug insert included with power supplies in PetSafeĀ® brand and SportDOGĀ® brand products, manufactured from January 2009 to January 2016 by Radio Systems Australia Pty Ltd. The plug insert is the circular part (see photo) with the two prongs that attaches to the adaptor box to enable it to plug into power points. These power supplies have been sold online and in pet stores across Australia and New Zealand with the products listed in the attached Recall Notice.

Reason the product is recalled
Some of the plug inserts have a manufacturing fault that causes them to break apart while being unplugged from a power socket.
The hazards to consumers
The enclosure of the detachable plug portion can break and potentially expose live parts which can cause a dangerous electric shock.
