Why the product is recalled
The products do not feature the mandatory warning labels as detailed in Consumer Protection Notice No.3 of 2009 - Consumer Product Safety Standard: Swimming Aids and Flotation Aids for Water Familiarisation and Swimming Tuition.
What the hazards are to consumers
Children who cannot swim could drown if their swimming or flotation aid fails or if they, or the adult supervising them, do not use the aid properly.
What consumers should do
Cease using the product immediately. Return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
