A "ball-popper" one half of a 'pop and catch' set. The item comprises a red basket catcher, a blue popping section and white ping pong type ball. It was supplied on the cover of children's magazine DMAG issue 77 as a 'covermount'.
What are the defects?
Concerns that the toy does not meet the mandatory safety requirements for a projectile toy with stored energy. Rather than popping the supplied ball, there is a risk that children could pop another item, resulting in injury.
