Why the product is recalled
At the rear of the refrigerator toward the bottom is a bracket securing the cooling unit. The bracket is held with a screw. A defect may exist in some screws due to an issue with the hardening process. This in turn could lead to a hazardous situation whereby the refrigerant gas could leak. If the cooling unit pipe-work fatigues which could then possibly ignite and cause a fire.

What consumers should do
Consumers should cease using the product immediately and contact Dometic on 1800 212 121 between 9am and 5pm EST (Monday to Friday) and ask for Technical Service. Inspection and fitment of a new bracket if required will be arranged free of charge at the nearest Authorised Dometic Agent.
