The Model and Batch number can be found by removing the faceplate of the powerpoint.

Reason the product is recalled

The powerpoint does not comply with the relevant electrical safety standards due to unreliable contacts in the powerpoint.

The hazards to consumers

There is a risk of serious injury or death from fire or electrocution.

What consumers should do

Consumers should immediately switch off the powerpoint and stop using it.

Do not attempt to remove or replace the powerpoint yourself. This must be done by a licensed electrician.

  • If the powerpoint has already been installed, use the dedicated webform link  to arrange a free replacement installed by a licensed electrician.
  • If the powerpoint has not been installed, consumers should return the powerpoint to any ALDI store for a full refund.
