The blinds do not meet the requirements for warning labelling and installation instructions specified in the mandatory standard 'Trade Practices (Consumer Product Safety Standard - Corded Internal Window Coverings) Regulations 2010'.
What are the hazards?
If the blinds are installed incorrectly, the cord/bead chains can create a strangulation hazard to children.
What should consumers do?
Consumers will be sent a copy of the correct installation instructions and warning label or alternatively they can return the product for a full refund.
