Why the product is recalled
If water and detergent are inadvertently spilt over the lid of these machines, it may penetrate the lid-locking switch device and conduct a very low electric current to the lid and its surrounds.
What the hazards are to consumers
Consumers may experience a mild tingling sensation in their finger tips when they touch the top of the machine and to this extent there is the slight possibility of an electric shock hazard.
What consumers should do
Consumers can still continue to use the machine safely. However, to avoid any possibility of electric shock consumers should switch OFF the machine at the control panel while loading and unloading the machine and when not in use.
