Reason the product is recalled
The blinds do not meet the requirements for Child Safety Labelling specified in the mandatory standard 'Trade Practices (Consumer Product Safety Standard - Corded Internal Window Coverings) Regulations 2010'.
The hazards to consumers
Child Safety Labels on the cord/bead chains are to remain attached to blinds at all times. If the blinds are installed incorrectly the cord/bead chains can create a strangulation hazard to children.
What consumers should do
Consumers will be sent a copy of the correct warning label or alternatively they can return the product for the correct label to be attached.
