What are the defects?
The generator may overheat and ignite at the point where the cord is secured to the body assembly.
What are the hazards?
The product may overheat surrounding equipment and potentially cause a fire.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should cease using the product and turn off all electrical power to the pool or spa, then unplug their Delta UV Generator from the power source.
Endless Pools US will contact affected consumers and request consumers to provide further information and advise complete instructions.
Consumers with affected appliances should contact the Australian distributor Fastlane Pools Customer Service on 1300 161 728 or email swim@fastlanepools.com.au to register their details to be advised of remedial actions when they are available as the remedial process has not yet been finalised.
