Reason the product is recalled

A metal-oxide semiconductor may overheat due to insufficient fixing of the semiconductor onto the aluminium heatsink.

The hazards to consumers

The fan assembly motor circuit board may overheat and short out, possibly resulting in a fire hazard.

Consumers should contact their installer and arrange to have their cooling fan replaced free of charge.
