What are the defects?
The product may not meet the requirements of the mandatory standard 'Consumer Protection Notice No. 14 of 2003 - Consumer Product Safety Standard: Toys for children up to and including 36 months of age'. Some of the products are missing a screw to secure the battery compartment.
What are the hazards?
If the battery compartment is not adequately secured, children may flip over the table and gain access to the batteries, which are small parts presenting a potential choking hazard.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should dispose of the product and contact Etsy seller SuperMStudio, Facebook seller WoodYouLove by JS or eBay seller Supermse to arrange for a refund.
To obtain a refund consumers will be requested to provide a photograph or video to show that the product has been completely destroyed.
