Printed novelty beverage cup with lid and straw. There is a flashing light feature in the lid. Sold in a combination package.
Why the product is recalled
The battery cover in the cup lid can be opened without the use of a tool or two simultaneous independent movements of the battery compartment lid. This could allow infants to access the button batteries inside.
What the hazards are to consumers
If young children gain access to the button batteries and ingest them, they may suffer internal burn injuries, which can result in serious illness and even death. In addition, the batteries may pose a choking hazard to young children.
What consumers should do
Stop using the cup and safely dispose of the blue plastic lid and batteries only. Please retain the cup and complete the recall form and customers will then receive an e-voucher to redeem a small popcorn and small drink in exchange for returning the Inside Out Souvenir Beverage Cup.
