Reason the product is recalled
Potential non-conformity of the air bag and the seat belt pretensioners Electronic Control Unit (ECU) could lead to power supply failure, causing the vehicles air bags and/or the seat belt pretensioners to activate or deactivate, and the air bag warning light on the instrument panel to turn on.
The hazards to consumers
If the air bag and seat belt pretensioners Electronic Control Unit fails, the air bags and seat belts may not function correctly, increasing the risk of an accident and injury to the vehicle occupants and other road users.
