What are the defects?
The fuse in the multimeter doesn’t have the right capacity for safe operation of the device.
What are the hazards?
If the fuse fails there may be an arc explosion which could lead to severe burns, serious injury or death.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should stop using affected multimeters immediately.
