Reason the product is recalled
The cable connecting the stop switch to the air filter base on the powerhead may break during use. Should this occur the operator may receive an electric shock when attempting to switch off the unit.

Consumers to check whether their unit is within the above serial number range. The serial number is found on the crank case below the muffler. Do not use the unit until the necessary remedial procedure has been completed. Take the unit to your nearest Stihl dealer.
