Portable car ramps used for raising the front of a vehicle off the ground, to assist with vehicle maintenance or access.
Why the product is recalled
The portable ramp was supplied without instructions for use and labelled markings on the product itself.
The product does not comply with the labelling requirements of mandatory standard AS/NZS 2640:1994 Portable ramps for vehicles.

What the hazards are to consumers
Misuse of the portable ramp may occur as a result of missing instructions for use and labelled markings. As the ramps are used for raising the front of a vehicle off the ground, there is potential for a crushing hazard if the ramp is misused while a person is underneath the vehicle. This may result in serious injury or death.
What consumers should do
Owners of the affected product can contact Geskin International Pty Ltd via email sales@gktech.com.au to discuss their preferred remedy.
Consumers will be able to choose from the following options for remediation:
1) Geskin International Pty Ltd will send consumers permanent stickers that they are able to attach to the ramp, along with the instructions of safe use.
2) The consumer can return the ramp at no cost and receive a replacement set of ramps with the correct stickers attached, and the instructions of safe use.
