New forks were marked with a serial nember ending in 'B', 'P' or 'N' on the steerer tube. Forks without these markings are affected.

What are the defects?

There may be some inconsistencies in the lay up of the composite forks steerer tube, compromising the strength of the fork. Our testing showed the defect rate was less than 1% and wouldn't cause any immediate safety concern.

What are the hazards?

Steerer tube may crack, causing the fork to fail or lose its structural integrity.

What should consumers do?

No requirment for consumers to take any action. All affected forks were accounted for at the time of the replacement program.
