Bicycle helmet intended for on-road usage, and for triathlon and time trial discipline
Why the product is recalled
The warning label inside the helmet that is required for compliance with the mandatory standard, AS/NZS 2063: 2008, has insufficient adhesion, causing the sticker to partially or completely detach from the helmet surface.
What the hazards are to consumers
If the compliance sticker were to detach from the helmet, it would be in breach of the mandatory safety standard and possibly cause a hazard if consumers were not alerted to the prescribed safety instructions.
What consumers should do
Consumers should contact their local Giant Bicycles retailer to return the helmet for revised AS/NZS 2063: 2008 stickers to be retrofitted.
