If used for an extended duration there is the potential for the motor capacitor to overheat.

Potential fire or smoke hazard if the product was to overheat.
What consumers should do
Cease use of the Portable Air Conditioner immediately and contact Glen Dimplex Australia on 1300 556 816 between 8.30am–5.00pm EST (Mon – Fri) or email techservau@glendimplex.com.au. Glen Dimplex will arrange for the product to be collected and replaced with an equivalent model.
