What are the defects?
On some machines, the rear fence has been aligned too far to the left, causing slight interference with the cutting blade when the machine is set to a 45 degree mitre cut to the left.
What are the hazards?
If the cutting blade comes in contact with the rear fence, it may break the kerf plate, creating a jagged edge that may pose a laceration hazard.
What should consumers do?
Customers should return the product to their nearest Glenfords Discount Tool Centre, where the fault will be rectified.
