Cleanskin Battery Charger used to charge lithium ion batteries for the Cleanskin Duo 2200 Lumen LED bicycle light (8.4 Volt batteries)
Affected models will be labelled with model number SKLC-0840-1000 and have uninsulated plug pins.
What are the defects?
Affected chargers with uninsulated plug pins do not comply with the Australian electrical safety standards.
What are the hazards?
Risk of electric shock, which can cause serious injury or death.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should immediately stop using affected chargers by first switching it off at the power outlet (often on your wall) and then removing the adaptor from the power outlet.
Consumers should store the charger securely and go to www.cleanskinmtb.com/battery-charger to register their contact details and to make arrangements for the safe disposal or return of the product for a replacement free of charge.
