Affected heaters have a three (3) digit batch number between 000 and 377, which is located on the rating label found on opposite end to the control panel, between the two large wheels. The heaters have been sold nationally by major electrical retailers since March 2006.

The heater has had reports of a component fault, which can cause overheating near the heater's control panel and, in some cases, risk of fire.
