If the rechargeable battery is placed in the torch the wrong way round, when the torch is then connected to the USB charging cable, it may cause the cable to heat up and potentially melt the cable.
The hazards to consumers
The heat generated from recharging the torch with the battery incorrectly loaded in the torch may melt the cable and may be a potential hazard if left unattended when charging.
What consumers should do
Customers should stop using the Hand Torch Rechargeable 135 immediately and arrange to return the item to Stores or contact Customer Services to receive a full refund.
