Reason the product is recalled

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has undertaken a review of the safety of the ingredient Artemisia and has formed the view that the safety of listed medicines containing Artemisia species may pose a risk when used by consumers who are pregnant or likely to become pregnant.

The hazards to consumers

Medicines containing Artemisia may cause illness if taken by pregnant women or women who intend to become pregnant and may cause injury to unborn children.

What consumers should do

Consumers should not drink the product if they are pregnant, or likely to become pregnant. Consumers should return the product to their place of purchase for a full refund.
