What are the defects?
On affected units, the steering can bind if the rubber boots of the outboard constant velocity (CV) joints, located on the front drive-shafts, become torn or punctured and dirt or other debris enters the joint. In the case of severe binding, the operator may not be able to fully control the steering.

Honda Australia MPE Pty Ltd will write to all owners of the possibly affected units and request them to present their unit to their nearest Honda dealer, at their earliest possible opportunity, where the inspection and repair will be carried out at no charge to the end user.
