What are the defects?
The product fails the warning labelling requirements of the Consumer Goods (Decorative Alcohol Fuelled Devices) Safety Standard 2017, that advises consumers of the dangers of filling an alcohol fuelled device when it is lit.
What are the hazards?
If the device is filled while lit, it can cause severe burns and possible death of the user or bystanders. Fire may also cause property damage
What should consumers do?
Consumers are advised to cease using product immediately and return to place of purchase for a replacement product.
