Detachable electric blanket controllers. Fitted to models Single (62105FFS), Double (62205FFD), Queen (62305FFQ), and King (62405FFK).
Reasons the product is recalled
Design flaw in the interconnecting cable between the controller on the blanket. In some cases this may cause a short circuit and burning of the cable's outer insulation.
The hazards to consumers
Interconnecting flexible cord may fuse, causing scorching of bed linen. Potientially a fire hazard.
What consumers should do
Consumers who have these models or are uncertain of the blanket's model number should call 1800 035 410. Controllers will be replaced free of charge.
