Children's yellow and red life vest
Why the product is recalled
The stitching of the grab strap attached to the back of the collar of the life vest may be inadaquate (batch 1201 only). The grab strap was added as an additional feature of the vest and it is not required for flotation.
What the hazards are to consumers
If the stitching of the grab strap tears and the strap separates from the collar of the vest, the wearer may fall back into the water. (Note that the flotation of the vest is unaffected, however.)
What consumers should do
