What are the defects?
The cable connector's rubber insulating boot can conduct electricity.
What are the hazards?
If a user touches the cable connector while there is voltage in the welding cables (for example, when the cables are connected to a running welding machine), there is a risk of electric shock, which can cause serious injury or death.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should immediately stop using the connectors and contact their Weldclass distributor to arrange refund or replacement, or visit https://www.weldclass.com.au/recall to submit a claim for replacement or refund.
