Reasons the product is recalled
The candle holders may catch alight as candles burn down to the base, and remain alight for longer than permitted in accordance with the Competition and Consumer Act (2010) Permanent Ban on Combustible Candle Holders.
The hazards to consumers
If defective, there is a possibility that the Wooden Candle Holders may cause a fire, or cause burns – and if a fire is caused there is a possibility of serious injury or death.
What consumers should do
Cease use immediately and return it to the closest kikki.K store for a full refund or contact our customer service team if you would like to return it by post. A gift card for $20.00 will be given to customer once the stock is returned.
