The set includes an inflatable float kick-board and an inflatable pad. The inflatable pad is fitted to a child's back using straps.
What are the defects?
In a small number of cases, the stitching on the strap attached to the inflatable pad has been inadequately sewn. This may lead to the strap detaching from the inflatable pad and if this occurs, the flotation aid may separate from the user.
What are the hazards?
If the stitching on the strap were to break during use, it could result in serious injury or death by drowning.
What should consumers do?
