Reasons the product is recalled
The product does not have a sufficiently secure battery compartment.
The hazards to consumers
If young children gain access to the button batteries and ingests them, they may suffer internal burn injuries, which can result in serious injury and even death. In addition, the batteries may pose a choking hazard to young children.
What consumers should do
Consumers will be provided a free repair kit and instructions on how to use the kit. See the attached supporting document below that outlines how to receive a repair kit.
