Reason the product is recalled
The front connection point on the folding arm may become loose due to a failure of the adhesive solution in the product. Where the connection becomes loose the folding arm may separate allowing one of the arms to sag.
The hazards to consumers
If the defect occurs, a person may be injured as they pass under the awning.
What consumers should do
Cease use of the awning until rectification has been made by an authorised dealer at the direction of Hunter Douglas
