Moscato d'Esri Sparkling Muscat wine. Vintage 2001. 750ml. Purchased at Tempo Beverages between 1 October 2001 and 23 October 2001.
Reasons the product is recalled
Fermentation of the muscat wine is continuing to occur in the bottle, thereby causing a pressure build up which could possibly cause the cork to shoot out of the bottle when the seal is broken, or the bottle breaking as a result of pressure build up.
What consumers should do
Do not attempt to open the Bottle. Wrap the bottle in a tea-towel and place it in a refrigerator (pick up the bottle with a tea-towel - avoid handling bottle with bare hands). Call (03) 9525 8044 to arrange for collection and full refund of the bottle.
