Reasons the product is recalled
The rear brake caliper carrier support may crack and / or the front brake master cylinder plunger (piston) may not return properly. This could result in loss of rear brake or front brake function.
The hazards to consumers
Loss of rear brake or front brake function may result in severe injury or death to the rider.
What consumers should do
ATVs that are affected should not be operated until the rear brake and front brake components have been replaced. Owners should contact an authorised KTM dealer to make a booking and have the faulty components replaced. For further assistance, contact KTM Australia customer service on 08 93516666.
