The affected product has a date stamp of 0817 or earlier and was sold at IKEA stores in NSW, Victoria and Queensland from 23 July 2007. The date stamp appears on a label attached to the underside of the chest of drawers.

Reason the product is recalled
IKEA has received customer reports that a glass drawer knob has broken either during assembly or in use, causing injury. The breakages are due to over tightening the screw fitting used to fix the drawer knob to the drawer front.

Or visit the Exchanges and Returns Department at your local IKEA store, to receive a repair kit by post, free of charge. The kit comprises six drawer knobs, fixing screws and assembly instructions.
