What are the defects?
Affected vehicles have an exposed portion of the exhaust system that may allow debris such as leaves/grass or other flammable materials to come into contact with the exposed area. There is a risk that the debris may catch fire and burn.
What are the hazards?
Potential fire hazard.
What should consumers do?
Owners should return their vehicles to an authorised KYMCO dealership to have a Protector Kit fitted over the exposed portion of the exhaust system.
