What are the defects?

The product does not comply with the Australian Standard, AS/NZS 1754:2010 clause 4.3.7 (b) (i), which requires that the child's head is kept at least 10mm away from the vehicle door during side impacts.

What are the hazards?

In the event of a side impact, the child's head may not be adequately protected.
